Costa Rican Inspiration: My Favorite Protein Smoothie

A few weeks ago, I was in beautiful Costa Rica, and let me tell you…I had T H E most delicious protein smoothie. It was so good that I knew I had to recreate it when I got home. Consider this my little souvenir to share with you: a protein-packed smoothie that’s as easy to make as it is delicious.

True to my style, I don’t measure…I just eyeball everything and trust me, you can’t mess this up. Bonus: it’s customizable, so you can make it your own! If you want to keep that vibrant mango color, skip the spinach, but I couldn’t resist adding a handful for extra fiber and greens.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • A handful of Frozen Mango

  • A Frozen Banana

  • A handful of Baby Spinach (optional)

  • A touch of Fresh Ginger (for a little zing)

  • Almond Milk (or any dairy substitute—coconut water would be delicious too)

  • A scoop of my favorite Vanilla Protein Powder

Just toss everything into a blender, blend until smooth, and enjoy!

This smoothie is a perfect pick-me-up after a workout, a quick breakfast, or even a refreshing midday treat. It brings back all the tropical vibes of Costa Rica in every sip.
