Probably one of the most frequently asked questions I receive is, "Are Golden Goose sneakers worth the price tag?" Well I suppose that depends on who you ask. If you're a self proclaimed sneaker addict like myself, then I will say with no hesitation, "HELLS YES, they're worth it!" If you only dabble in the sneaks situation now and again, I'd say, "Let's focus on the classics a la my fave pair of Vans or Chucks." But if you're looking to elevate your sneaker collection, there is no better way to do so than with a dope pair of Golden Goose sneakers. Created by two Italian Designers, GGDB's are truly the most versatile pair of kicks. Dresses, skirts, denim, shorts, a night out on the town, or a day running errands, Golden Goose can be paired with just about everything....and you'll look equally modern and sleek while sporting them. My love of the Geese started about two years ago when I moved to Indy and discovered 8fifteen.....damnit if my gal pal and owner of 8fifteen, Erin, didn't turn me onto them and now I simply cannot quit---be forewarned...they're the Lays Potato Chips of Sneakers....You can't have just O N E. Indy gals, if you're itching to take a pair for a test drive....definitely hit up 8fifteen...they're the only joint in town that carries 'em. If you're in between sizes, I'd size up. I wear an 8.5 in US sizes and a 39 in GGDBs. The two styles I highly recommend are the Mid Rise if you're a hi top gal (damnit if I didn't just snag THESE) or the May if you prefer a regular kick. I know a slew of y'all are probably thinking this gal has damn near lost her mind trying to tout a $500 sneaker....but I think of it as I do all of my higher end pieces aka this FANNY PACK....will I wear them enough to justify the price tag?
