Modern Farmhouse Porch:
Super excited to share one of my favorite areas in our home...our Covered Modern Farmhouse Porch!! This place is HIGHLY UTILIZED in the spring, summer, and fall months (thanks to the screened-in factor).....and so I knew when I spotted this SWINGING CHAIR from REVEAL, it would be the perfect addition in an already loved space! Whether it's Chase reading her book, me rocking Calvin, or Roo doing Lord only knows what....it's a hot spot we are V E R Y eager to use once Mother Nature gets her damn act together and warms up!
I first met the ladies of Reveal & Polish Interiors at our First Annual "Closets for a Cause" closet sale last fall. Not only are they kind beyond measure, but their interiors and accessories had me craving all kinds of goodness for our home. With that it mind, it was a no brainer that I enlisted the help of Christina with Polish to style our back porch. I wanted a cozy, clean, colorful space...and Christina definitely delivered! She has an incredible eye for all things fresh, modern, and truly understands my love of C O L O R! I'm beyond thrilled with how the space turned out and am anxiously awaiting that first temperate spike so I can thoroughly enjoy all the relaxation this space has to offer!
For those that have inquired, we purchased our modern farmhouse porch furniture last year from World Market, and while no longer avail, I'm loving some of this year's options (Options A and B). I also get a boatload of questions about our daybed swing. Johnny and I fell hard for this idea after we visited Blackberry Farms and relaxed in their spa where they had an entire ROOM of daybed swings...heavenly! So leave it to Johnny to design an exact replica and enlist the help of our trim carpenter to bring it to life--which he most definitely did!! As previously stated, this is a space where we thoroughly enjoy relaxing, winding down, and simply unplugging!
