Nordstrom Rack
More exciting than the grand opening of Nordstrom Rack in Louisville, KY, was the fact that I got to shop there ALONE--sans KIDS--dream. come. true. This translated to about an hour and a half mosey throughout the entire store scouring all of the fabulous fall finds at an insanely good price point. Go figure, first stop was the men's section---I spotted a row of fab fedoras from afar and fell in love with this Ben Sherman topper. I also decided to snag a pair of men's Lacoste aviator shades--super cute tortoise with a neon stripe! Not pictured (coming next week) is a perfectly fitted Kelly Green DVF skirt I snaked (their DVF selection was FANTASTIC--comprised about half of my cart). The shoe section def proved to be where the majority of my time was spent---chucks, metallic oxfords, and quirky smokers were just some of my fave picks. I have to say; however, my golden ticket item was the classic boys' navy blue blazer pictured above with the gold buttons---obsessed--and you'd die if I told ya how much I scored it for! I rounded out my excursion with the accessories section--hello Kate Spade for days--and a side of beauty products. The one area I failed to hit up which I'll do in the next few weeks is their home section----looking for some good cocktail glasses and I've spotted some gold gilded ones online. So Kentuckians---do yourself a favor and check it out--I was thoroughly impressed indeed! Stay tuned next week to see how I styled my Nordstrom Rack treats--make it a good one! PS: did you see this morning's MASHUP POST--a trio of outfits--check it!
