The Conrad Chicago:
If y'all followed along our family's fall break getaway to Chicago last week, then you know we had an absolute blast (see exhibits one, two, and three)! Everything from the Shedd Aquarium, Lincoln Park Zoo with my best friend from childhood, Shopping on Michigan Avenue, Hamilton for date night , a fabulous dinner at Maple & Ash, to an even more fabulous stay at The Conrad Chicago, it was truly such a wonderful trip filled with great memories! And while I could easily elaborate on all the reasons our trip was fantastic, truly, I've gotta give credit where credit is due...The Conrad Chicago knocked it out of the park! Our family has long been fans of The Conrad (see my Indy Conrad Post here), so it was a no brainer that we chose to stay at their Chicago location...which was a P R I M E spot btw....hello Nordstrom, Zara, Dylan's Candy Bar, Gucci, the Shake Shack, Levi's, Starbucks ALL a stone's throw away--not to mention the magnificent views of the Magnificent Mile!
The room was SO PERFECT for a family....we had an area that was an optimal space for Calvin's pack n play (which I HIGHLY recommend), a separate queen pull out for the girls, and Johnny and I had our own space as well. Their restaurant, Baptiste & Bottle, was so dang delish and a perfect spot for Johnny and I have to have a nightcap. The hotel view's were top notch. But location, rooms, eats, and views aside...let's get to the R E A L reason why we were so impressed with The Conrad Chicago....their CUSTOMER SERVICE. Y'all it was honestly so impressive. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the oh so lovely, Diana (see that beauty above), to the personalized notes, the bellman, the room service, the valet, the staff at Baptise & Bottle....truly everyone was SO HOSPITABLE....like to the umpteenth degree. To the point where even the kids were like, "This place is SO FRIENDLY." And you know, kids don't lie ; )
Needless to say, if you're hitting up the Windy City, definitely plan a stay at The Conrad Chicago....you won't be disappointed and you'll #stayinspired!! We are already planning our next visit! Have a great week, gang...make it a great one!!
