The Tried & True Button-Down

If you know me, you know I love the power of a classic button-down. They’re chic and effortless while being so versatile. This week, I am sharing a few ways I style one of my all time favorite Walmart finds — the tried and true button-down from Walmart’s fashion line Free Assembly.

The shirt comes in seven different colors, ranging from solids to stripes so at $20-$24 a shirt, how could you not snag a few? Here is how I am styling mine with vacation on the brain:

First, this green and blue stripe version is giving total Solid & Striped vibes. I paired it with my favorite green suit along with these adorable green pants from Walmart’s fashion line, Scoop. They are so comfortable and versatile making them ideal for those quick weekend getaways where you’re limited to a carryon.

For an evening look, I paired the shirt with my favorite denim. You could also keep the green pants on and add the crisp white version along with your favorite sneakers. Elevate the look by swapping out the sneakers for a pair of heels or take it one step further and it with a fun statement skirt — you’re ready for a night on the town!
