Home Edit: The Chase Space
A soft palette and L O T S of plants — this was Chaser’s request when it came to her room makeover and man oh man did Christina and team with Reveal by Polish (IG: @revealbypolish) NAIL it. We knew we wanted to invest in some pieces and save on others, with the realization that a teen’s style evolves over the years. With that in mind, we splurged a bit more on the headboard and chair as those will withstand the test of time and saved on items like her bedding, accent pillows, etc.
Chase has always loved a good vintage find so, to make it her own, we incorporated some antique trinkets and nods to her Native Kentucky and our family love of Florida. It was so fun to scour vintage shops including our favorite, Midland Arts here in Indy, where we found the perfect pieces including a Florida plate and an adorable horse print that we had reframed to give it new life! Some other easy and cost effective ways to change up a room include frames, vases, baskets, and other knick knacks. Some of our faves include:
A retro turntable for the music lover
Rattan baskets for blankets, pillows, etc.
Funky vases for plants, makeup brushes, and additional storage.
